Need to hire an event shuttle in Moab for your upcoming private event? That’s great, we might be able to help! In addition to our regular airport shuttle service, Moab Express offers private event shuttles for groups as small as 10 and as large as 100. We can be hired to shuttle your group after hours and anywhere pavement goes in the greater Moab area.

Event Shuttle Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that when organizing transportation for a large group of people, there can be a lot of questions! We try to provide answers to the most common questions below. If you still have a question or aren’t ready to request your shuttle, feel free to email us at events@moabexpress.com with your questions.
What is the cost?
The cost is dependent on several factors, including but not limited to:
- Total # of passengers
- Time of day for event.
- # of pickup and dropoff locations.
- Location of event venue.
- Vehicle size needed.
- If needing one-way or round-trip.
Typically we ask that you fill out the request form, and we will supply you with an emailed quote for your specific needs.
That email quote is then valid for 30 days, subject to the availability of drivers and fleet. This quote will include all fees, taxes, and gratuity for drivers so you will know the full total cost of the shuttle.
Once you approve the quote, we will submit an electronic order and payment request, where a 10% non-refundable payment will be due within 48 hours to reserve your shuttle.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, to ensure your event shuttles and dates we require a 10% non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due 30 days before the event shuttle date.
Payment of deposit must be made within 48hrs of receiving the payment link in order to confirm your reservation.
How soon do we need to book?
Ultimately that is up to you! However, the sooner you can confirm your reservation, the more likely we will have availability for your event. Typically we are booked up for event shuttles 6-12 months in advance.
Is there a minimum or maximum on passengers?
No! No matter your group size, we have the staff and fleet available to transport your group.
We do require a final head count of passengers no later than 45 days before the event. This allows us to ensure the correct vehicles (# of seats) are reserved for your event.
How far from Moab will you drive?
For the event location drop-off, we try to honor all of Moab’s popular wedding and event destinations.
For pickup locations*, we limit each vehicle to 2 stops within a 3-mile radius of Moab city center. If more stops are needed, additional charges may apply.
* If using large buses, we will need to pre-approve pickup locations based on bus access point availability. We can help steer you in the right lodging direction if this is of interest.
Do you go to off-road destinations?
At this time we do not shuttle to off-road destinations that require driving off of pavement or 4×4 capabilities.
Will you do a pickup past 11pm MST?
Yes! However, we consider any event shuttle after 11 pm an “after-hours” shuttle, which will incur after-hours pricing. All after-hours shuttles depend on availability and must be approved 30 days before the event.
We do not allow last-minute late drop-off requests.
Anything not allowed on the shuttle?
We kindly ask guests to adhere to the following rules on the shuttle vehicles:
- Passengers must be seated in seats at all times.
- A lap is not a seat.
- The floor is not a seat.
- No vaping or smoking inside of the vehicles, whether they are moving or still.
- No illegal drug use within the vehicles.
- No intentional distraction to the driver(s) in any way.
Is there a cleaning fee?
Any cleaning fee will be a part of your quote before the event.
Should – post event – we deem a vehicle require additional cleaning for any over-the-top cleaning needs, Moab Express has the right to charge the card on file an additional $400 to cover the costs for additional cleaning.
Do you provide car seats for little kids?
We do not. If a child young enough to require a car seat will be apart of the shuttle, the guest must provide the car seat for that child. No child may sit on the lap of a passenger during the shuttle.
